Astana. February 6. KazTAG - Kazakhstani subsoil users will allocate about $1 bln annually for scientific researches, said Yerbol Suleimenov, deputy chair of the committee for science of the Ministry of Education and Science.
"On the performance of the regulations stated in the message of Kazakhstani President to people, the budget for scientific researches will be increased, investments from the side of private sector for scientific developments will be stimulated," he said in the interview placed at the PM's site.
He reminded 27 bln tenge were allocated in 2011 and 42 bln tenge for science development in Kazakhstan.
"Also at least 1% of cumulative profit of the national companies- subsoil users will be annually allocated for local scientific researches. According to preliminary calculations it will make about $1 bln per year," he said.
