“According to preliminary data, a conflict occurred between a security guard and a resident of the residential complex, as a result of which a 45-year-old man inflicted bodily injuries incompatible with life on the security guard,” said the press service of the Almaty Police Department.
A criminal case has been opened into the murder.
“The suspect was detained and taken to a temporary detention center. Other circumstances of the crime are being investigated,” the police added.
The video footage, which was previously published by journalist Mikhail Kozachkov on his Telegram channel, shows how a SUV driver runs over the security guard several times, after which he gets out of the car and hits the man.
