According to Skyscanner, during the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr, for UAE residents, Kazakhstan was significantly ahead of other popular destinations with a 195% increase in interest. Kazakhstan was followed in the list of large countries by Seychelles (115%), Cyprus (99%), Japan (90%), Switzerland (56%), Greece (49%).
The total visitation of Kazakhstan by tourists from the Gulf countries in 2023 increased by almost 2 times from 16.3 thousand visitors to 29.6 thousand people, compared to 2022.
