Kazakhstan commenced uranium supply to Brazil

Astana. May 23. KazTAG - Kazakhstan has commenced shipment of uranium to Brazil, reports Kazatomprom.
"Kazatomprom has won the international tender for shipment of concentrated natural uranium for Brazilian  Indústrias nucleares do Brasil (INB). According to the terms of the agreement Kazatomprom has delivered uranium in the prescribed terms," reads the message.
INB is a state company of Brazil for nuclear fuel production.
"The activity of INB is licensed and controlled by the National commission on nuclear energy and Brazilian institute of the environment and renewable natural sources, and also by IAEA. The contract is important in the context of development of Kazakhstani-Brazilian cooperation for peaceful use of atomic energy and search of new sales market for Kazatomprom products," reads the message.
