Kazakhstan received humanitarian aid from Tajikistan

Turkestan. April 22. KazTAG – Kazakhstan received humanitarian aid from Tajikistan, reports Avesta.tj.
“Humanitarian aid, which includes food, drinking water, construction materials and house roofs, was sent from Dushanbe and Khujand to 61 wagons and 13 trucks, the total weight of which was 3.5 thousand tons,” the report said.
On April 20, in the city of Saryagash in Kazakhstan, a ceremony was held to transfer humanitarian aid to the flood-affected population of Kazakhstan.
The head of the Emergency Situations Committee, Colonel General of the Police, Rustam Nazarzoda, addressed the audience. In his speech, he noted that assistance to the fraternal Kazakh people was provided on the direct instructions of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.
The First Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan and the regional akim thanked the Tajik people for their assistance in such a difficult situation for Kazakhstan.
