“The publication distributed in instant messengers, including Telegram, about the threat of terrorism in city schools is not true. Educational organizations have been verified by the relevant services. We ask residents to remain calm and adhere to official information only. We remind you that there is criminal liability for disseminating a knowingly false message,” the press service of the Astana Police Department said on Friday.
A message on this issue had been previously distributed by class teachers in parent chats.
