About T193 billion in dividends will be paid by Halyk Bank to Kulibayevs’ company

Astana. April 29. KazTAG - Halyk Bank decided to pay dividends of more than T277 billion - about T193 billion of them will be received by ALMEX Holding Group JSC, which is controlled by Timur Kulibayev and his wife - the daughter of ex-President Nursultan Nazarbayev - Dinara Kulibayeva.
“Halyk Bank of Kazakhstan JSC announces the decision adopted at the annual general meeting of shareholders of the bank through absentee voting, held on April 25, 2024, to pay dividends on the bank’s common shares (ISIN KZ000A0LE0S4) based on the bank’s performance for 2023: the amount of the dividend in calculation per one common share: KZT25.43; dividend payment start date: June 3, 2024; procedure and form of payment of dividends: date of compilation of the list of shareholders entitled to receive dividends as of the beginning of the date (00.00) May 15, 2024 (Almaty time); The form of dividend payment is non-cash. The amount of dividends to be paid to the bank’s shareholders will be KZT277,397,404,056.36,” reports the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).
As of April 1, 2024, 69.52% of Halyk Bank common shares belong to the ALMEX holding group. Thus, the Kulibayevs’ company will receive T192.8 billion in dividends.
