“The President, at the operational headquarters deployed in the city of Tobol, met with residents of villages in the Kostanay region affected by the flood,” the statement said.
Tokayev thanked everyone for their civic activity and concern, noting that the unity of the people is clearly manifested in such difficult times.
“I came specifically to meet you. I understand the situation is difficult. All resources available to the state are directed to solving the problem. As President, I see it as my priority to provide maximum assistance to you affected by the floods,” he said.
